About a week ago, I shared some office updates & also gave you an itemized list of all of these office treasures. I also left you with a coffee table teaser, and finally… the waiting game is o-va. With no further ado, I formally introduce you to the most recent addition to our office:
When I laid eyes on this CLEARANCE HomeGoods table, I knew she would be perfect for this space. The table costs a little over $100 and in my opinion, totally completes the nook… on a budget! Talk about #HomeGoodsHappy!
I knew I wanted a table that was a little non-traditional for this room and I was also dead set on an “airy” table that wouldn’t block the gorgeous couch. So many of the tables I saw were gorgeous but too bulky and wouldn’t give the couch (our recent splurge) enough of the spotlight.
I toyed with the idea of buying two mini tables to sit side-by-side in front of the couch (and even brought a few home to “try on”), but couldn’t seem to find the perfect combo. So when I saw this airy table that incorporated some industrial hints, I knew she was a keeper! This gem fit all of my must-haves, and it also made the space a touch less girly (a must-have on my hubby’s list).
The texture up close is probably my favorite part! So charming, or shall I say “so masculine and tough”. Those were my choice of words when I was trying to convince Matt that this table was meant to be and would totally add some toughness to the room.
I especially love the geometric pattern on the table. It seemed like the perfect way to tie in some of the other geometric design elements within the room. Hopefully I can keep this look going as I tackle what’s left.
I definitely love how it’s all coming together and am far more motivated to keep on plugging away!
But until then, you can probably find me cozied up in this little space with a good magazine, a cup of coffee, and growing to-do list!
